Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, actress, American screen and stage actor and producer. She is best known as a film actress for her role on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Then she appeared on various television series in independent films, mainstream and movies. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with praise from critics but also received a host of nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Film. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on the stage as Ariel in The Tempest. The actress has appeared on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In the film industry her most well-known roles are roles such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. In television, her role in the ABC's crime drama High Incident is well known.
