Catherine Tate
Catherine Jane Ford (born 5 December 1969) also known as Catherine Tate, is an English actress, comedian and writer. Her performance in The Catherine Tate Show, a BBC sketch comedy series has been recognized with numerous accolades. Tate was also nominated for seven BAFTAs as well as an International Emmy Award. Tate was Donna Noble's co-star in Doctor Who's 2006 Christmas special. She later reprised the role and became the Tenth Doctor's companion on a regular basis in the fourth series of Doctor Who in 2008. [2] Tate was the protagonist of Joanie Taylor ("Nan") the comedy character that she played in The Catherine Tate Show (2009-2015). Tate also appeared in The Nan Movie (2022). In 2011, Tate started a recurring part in the role of Nellie Bertram in the U.S. edition of The Office. It was a regular character until the series' end.
